Paddle Fest
Paddle Fest 2013Paddle Fest took place in Kilkenny on the 6th and 7th of April, over 250 canoe enthusiasts met at The Hub for a briefing on Saturday morning and hit the waters of Kilkenny for the day. They joined us back in the Hub on Saturday evening where they enjoyed a meal and a few well deserved drinks. Foxe and the good hands came on stage and played until midnight. Everyone had a very enjoyable time, and we congratulate Canoe Ireland on a great event. We hope to see you both back in The Hub for future events.

Beat 102 103 Wedding Day
The Beat 102 103 Wedding Day took place in The Hub on the 31st of March.There were over 30 exhibitors from around the South East and beyond. Alison Canavan ( international model) was the M.C for the day. Strand Travel Waterford gave away a dream holiday worth €5000 to Dubai and Thailand, and the lucky winner was Julianne Walsh from Durrow. We hope to welcome Beat 102 103 back in 2014. The Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland along with a choir of 800 children from Kilkenny schools graced us with two incredible performances on the 2nd of March. Conductor Gearoid Grant controlled all 900 of the performers with absolute perfection. The Hub proved to be the ideal venue for this concert, allowing enough space for an audience of 1100 people along with an enormous stage accommodating the 900 performers. The children had a great day, as did every single member of the audience at both shows. We hope to welcome the CBOI again next year and stay tuned here for information about their return.
